Education is the journey from ignorance to enlightenment
Centre for Advancement of Higher Education, Midnapore is a non-profit making organisation registered under the West Bengal Society Registration Act, 1961. The primary objective of the Society is to promote the cause of higher learning in the fields of Health and Hygiene, Engineering, Law, Management, Social Work, etc. In order to fulfill the above objective, the Society set up a 25 bedded Modern Hospital with all infra-structural facilities and introduced Para-Medical Courses in the spheres of X-ray and ECG Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physio-therapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, etc. from the year 2002. It intends to expand the Hospital into 50 beds in future and start B.D.S and Nursing Training Courses. The Institute at present has two wings : (i) Allied Medical & Paramedical College (ii) Hospital.
The Location and the Management
Vidyasagar Institute of Health (VIH), a growing institution in the Municipal area of Midnapore town, not only offers education and training in different Paramedical Courses but also provides quality medicare service. Its campus spreads over an area of 25.20 acres at Rangamati near Midnapore Railway Station of S.E. Railway. It is well connected by railways and roadways to all metropolitan areas of the State. The Institute atpresent houses a 32 bedded Hospital, with Swasthasathi B grade, Administrative as well as Teaching Blocks, Residential Quarters, Guest House, etc. The Institute has been set up under the auspices of Centre for Advancement of Higher Education, Midnapore and is managed by the Board of Governors of the Society.Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat.
